When you start tapping in to the essence of your soul or playing with transmutation, you learn this spell (You may still choose this spell, however, the DM might choose to gift you this spell after some certain feat). Using special Sylvan transmutation, you can now change the fieriness of your heart into frostbitten cold.
When you cast this spell, you take 1d4 Fire damage from the heat of your soul. This damage ignores resistance but not immunity. As part of when you cast this spell, you may make a melee spell attack, dealing an extra 2d8 Cold damage on a hit and the target must make a DC15 Constitution saving throw. On a fail, the target's speed is reduced by 10 ft until the end of their next turn. If they succeed, nothing happens.
*(Prerequisite: A spell that does fire damage)
At higher levels this spell's damage increases to 3d8(5th level), 4d8(11th level), and 3d10(17th level). Also, the damage you take still increases a little bit, though you contain it more. The Fire damage increases to 2d4(5th level), 2d6(11th level), and 2d8(17th level).
