Biting Bolts

Three sickly green projectiles streak toward three targets within range (you may choose the same target more than once) that then burst in a spray of acid. Make a ranged spell attack against each target. On a hit, the target takes 4d4 acid damage immediately and 2d4 acid damage at the end of its next turn. 

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, you may shoot one additional bolt of acid.
