A swirling cloud of white mist appears in a 40-foot-cube centered on a point within range. The mist spreads around corners and causes the area to be heavily obscured. It lasts for the duration or until a wind of moderate or greater speed (at least 10 miles per hour) disperses it.
When the mist appears, each creature in it must make a constitution saving throw. A creature takes 10d8 cold damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. A creature must also make this saving throw when it enters the spell's area for the first time on a turn or ends its turn there. If a creature starts its turn in the mist with 0 hit points, it must succeed on a constitution save against your spell DC or die and freeze solid.
The cloud moves up to 10 feet directly away from you in a direction that you choose at the start of each of your turns.

Posted Nov 29, 202310 feet directly away from you indicates a direction already, so that last part needs to be clarified a little.
