Ascension (Homebrew)

As you cast this spell, vapours of the Astral Plane seep from the Silver Shard, embracing you in Ribbons of silver smoke, which lift you into air.

While concentrating on the spell, you are under a list of numerous effects, which are as follows:

• You levitate off the ground at a height of 10 feet.
• Your movement speed becomes 0, and you cannot be forced to move by any means. You become frozen in space, 10 feet off the ground.
• You gain Magic Resistance to all spells of 5th Level and lower.
• You become immune to Charm effects.
• You gain an additional Reaction for each turn.
• You may cast 1st Level Spells at will.
• You may add your Spellcasting Modifier to the Damage of a number of spells, equal to your Spellcasting Modifier.
• You may take advantage on an Attack Roll, or Impose Disadvantage on a Saving Throw, a number of times equal to your Spellcasting Modifier.

 Addendum : You cannot willingly stop your Concentration on this spell. If you attempt to cast a spell that requires Concertation, the spell slot is consumed as the spell fails to activate, and you take Psychic Damage equal to the spell level. This damage does not force a Concentration check.

This spell also takes a heavy toll on the Mortal Body.
When the spell ends, you take 1 Level of Exhaustion.
If the spell lasted for at least Half of its Duration, you instead take 2 Levels of Exhaustion.
If the spell ends by reaching the full 1 Minute Duration, you take 3 Levels of Exhaustion.

 Astral Silver is obtained by exposing a Fragment of Silver to the Astral Sea for 1 Minute. Wherein it becomes tainted with the power.

The Homebrew title is just for relevancy within my own campaigns, for the DM to decide whether or not to allow the spell.
