Animation

You pour magical purpose into a non-magical item. The item is granted a lesser sentience, it follows your verbal commands, executing them to the best of its ability, it understands and (if you choose) can speak one language you know. Items commonly animated by this spell are suits of armor, weapons , and furniture. Other nonmagical items can be enchanted by this spell at your DM's discretion. Maintaining control over a large number of objects at one time can be taxing on the mind. A creature can only control a number of animated objects with a combined challenge rating equal to one third their character level.
