A work of White Magic, in which the caster briefly channels the magic through themselves before directing it at an enemy in a reflective and almost iridescent white-hot blast of flames. The contact with White Magic is invigorating, and momentarily expands the caster's capacity for magic.
Make a ranged spell attack against one enemy in range. On a hit, it take 1d4+ spellcasting ability modifier damage of a single type that it is vulnerable to, or Fire damage if it has no vulnerabilities. You gain 1d4 extra spell slots for your next spell cast before a short rest after casting(you cannot gain extra spell slots in this way more than your spellcasting ability modifier times before a long rest), and regain the spell slots expended for the casting of this spell if the attack is a critical hit.
If cast above 1st level, for every other spell slot expended the spell deals an additional 1d4 damage.
