You touch a creature with at least 1 hit point, they regain hit points equal to you spellcasting ability modifier, and you take Necrotic damage equal to your spellcasting ability modifier (this damage cannot be reduced in any way). Aberrations, constructs, fiends, and undead cannot be effected by this spell.
If you cast this spell again on the same creature within the next hour, the amount healed is reduced by 1 for each additional casting of the spell on that creature. A creature benefits from the full healing of the spell after an hour has past since it last regained hit points from this spell.

Posted Aug 8, 2020This seems like a cool spell. But restrictions and losing HP seems like enough of a drawback. Is there a need or reason for the material cost?
