You create a dart of unstable chromatic energy. You hurl this dart at a target of your choice within range. On a hit, roll a d6 to determine the following effect from the table below;

1 | You deal 1d6 acid damage and the target can’t regain hit point until the start of your next turn. |
2 | You deal 1d6 cold damage and the target’s speed is reduced by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. |
3 |
You deal 1d6 fire damage and the target catches fire, dealing addition damage equal to half of the initial damage at the end of the target’s next turn, after which the flames are extinguished. The flames can be extinguished early if a creature spends their action to douse the flames. |
4 | You deal 1d6 lightning damage and the target can’t take a reaction until the start of its next turn. |
5 | You deal 1d6 poison damage and the target has disadvantage on their next attack roll before the end of its next turn. |
6 | You deal 1d6 thunder damage and the target is pushed 10 feet away. |
This spell's damage increases by 1d6 when you reach 5th level (2d6), 11th level (3d6), and 17th level (4d6).
