As an action on your turn, you stretch forth your hand and an astral pistol appears in it to fire a single shot. Make a ranged spell attack against a creature within 30 feet. On a hit, the target takes 1d8 piercing damage.

When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 1st.
