Your hands crackle with electricity.  For the duration, you may make a spell attack at a creature within 30 feet as an action.  On a hit, the target takes 2d8 lightning damage, and your next spell attack against that creature gains advantage as the electricity crackles around them.

At Higher Levels.  When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage dealt by a successful attack increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 1st.
