Choose a creature within range that you can see. Each time it tries to cast a cantrip whilst this spell affects it, it must succeed on a spellcasting ability check against your spellcasting save DC or its spell fails.
The maximum spell level inhibited by the cantrip increases when you reach 5th level (1st-level spells), 11th level (2nd-level spell), and 17th level (3rd-level spells).
