You channel storm magic into your hands empowering them with thunder magic, after which you deliver a crushing overhead blow to a target you can see within 5 feet of you. Make a melee spell attack. On a hit the target takes 8d6 plus your spellcasting ability modifier and is deafened till the end of your next turn.

When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher the damage increases by 1d6 for each level spell slot above 3rd.
