Arrow of the Ashen Death

Invoking this incantation summons a spectral black flame longbow and arrow from the depths of Hades. Make a ranged spell attack for the arrow between 500 and 1,000 feet. On a hit, the target will take 1d6 fire damage and 1d6 necrotic damage for every 150 feet the arrow has traveled.

When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the range of travel increases by 500 feet (e.g. 3rd level = 1,000 - 1,500 feet). The spell slot used by the Arrow of the Ashen Death is determined by the range at which it is used.
