For the spell's duration your eyes glow with a bright white fire, and you gain the ability to draw upon your own life essence to burn away the darkness of undeath or re-ignite the spark of life in another. As your action you can choose to suffer 10 points of damage to target a dead or undead creature with white flame of your own life-force that produces the following effects:
An undead target within range must make a wisdom saving throw or suffer 12d6 radiant damage on a failed save or half as much damage on a successful one. An undead creature reduced to 0 hp by this damage is not destroyed, but loses their undead template and is restored to life with 1 hit point.
A recently killed target who has been dead for no more than one minute is restored to life with 1 hit point.
For the duration of the spell, the caster gains resistance to necrotic damage and immunity from effects that would kill him instantly without dealing damage. If the caster dies as a result of damage caused by this spell they cannot be raised as an undead creature, and can only be restored to life by means of a True Resurrection or Wish Spell.
