You create a 20-foot-radius sphere of acidic fog centred on a point within range. The sphere spreads around corners, and its area is heavily obscured. It lasts for the duration or until a wind of moderate or greater speed (at least 10 miles per hour) disperses it.
When a creature enters the spell's area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, that creature must make a Constitution saving throw. The creature takes 5d4 acid damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. If a creature fails a saving throw and ends its next turn (after the one where it failed a save) outside the spell's area its takes an additional 3d4 acid damage. A creature can only take this additional damage once per turn.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the radius of the fog increases by 20 feet for each slot level above 1st.
