This spell creates a single break or tear in an object you touch, break a chain link, snap a key in two halves, tear a cloak, or make a hole in a wineskin. As long as the break or tear is no larger than 1 foot in any dimension, you create it, irreparably damaging it with no means of repair other than mending.
This spell can physically damage a magic item or construct, but the spell can't disenchant the magic of said item.
