You cause a creature to feel ailed and sick. That creature must succeed a constitution saving throw or be poisoned and have its walking speed reduced by 10 feet. At the end of the creature's turns, it can repeat this saving throw. On a successful save, it ends the effect. A creature that is immune to poison is immune to this spell. If a creature is resistant to poison damage, they have advantage on their saving throw.

At Higher Levels. At higher levels, this spell becomes more powerful. Starting at level 5, a creature's speed is reduced by 15 feet. Starting at level 11, a creature's speed is reduced by 20 feet, and that creature becomes temporarily too weak to fly. Starting at level 17, the creature's speed is reduced by 25 feet and it subtracts your spellcasting modifier (minimum of 1) from the damage of strength based attacks. Note that this spell can reduce a creature's movement to 0.
