Holding a snail shell stuffed with sulfur in one hand, and extending the other arm, you invoke the abyss and a swarm of large, slug-like creatures with a torrent of flammable slime erupt from your outstretched arm into a 15-ft cone in front of you.

Anyone caught within the 15ft cone of the spell must make a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw. On a fail, the target is drenched in flammable slime and is considered to have a vulnerability towards it until the spellcaster's next turn. On a success, the target doesn't get covered in abyss goop. You may use an action to ignite the slug-like creatures, setting fire the the cone and anyone within it with short-lived but brilliant purplish-black flame that burns ONLY living targets.

Anyone within the fire may make a dexterity saving throw against the spellcaster's Save DC. On a failure, targets take 4d10 fire damage. On a save, target takes half damage (always round up). Undead take no damage. When ignited, the slime, slugs and fire leave behind no soot and no residue or fire of any kind.

Cast as a ritual, the spellcaster may choose to melt the slugs into the goop so that only a 15-ft cone slime-puddle remains. They may set fire to said puddle using an action, instantaneously and from a distance of up to 90ft. This puddle always does 4d10 fire damage, or half that much if the targets pass the DEX save, and undead still take no damage.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d10 and the DC for avoiding the slime goes up by +1 for each slot level above 3rd. When cast with 5th level spell slot, cone changes to have a 20ft range.
