You create six tiny, flaming weapons in your space. They float in the air and orbit you for the spell’s duration. When you cast the spell — and as a bonus action on each of your turns thereafter — you can expend one or two of the weapons, choosing a form for each from the melee weapons available in the players handbook, or other sources at your DM's discretion. You send them streaking toward a point, points, a creature or creatures you choose within 120 feet of you. If you target a creature, make a spell attack. On a hit, deal 1d10 of the damage appropriate to the weapon's chosen form to the target creature.
Once a weapon reaches its destination or impacts against a solid surface, it explodes. Each creature within 5 feet of the target creature must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 1d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Each creature within 5 feet of the target creature must make a Dexterity saving throw.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the number of weapons created increases by two for each slot level above 3rd.
