You create a collection of glowing darts equal to 2d4 + the level of the spell, that hover in a circle around you for the duration of the spell. When you cast the spell and as a bonus action on each of your turns thereafter, you can expend up to 3 darts. Each dart hits a creature of your choice that you can see within range and deals 1d4 + 1 force damage. The darts all strike simultaneously, and you can direct them to hit one creature or several. The remaining darts hover around you until they are used or until the spell ends. Any spell or magical effect that blocks the magic missile spell also blocks the darts from this spell.

At Higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the spell creates an additional 1d4 darts for each slot level above 4th.
