Using dark magic, the bard calls forth the lifeforce of a living entity of at least small size or larger with a fresh wound. The bard begins to play their instrument, enthralling the target. The bard must play for 1 hour uninterrupted. At the end of the hour, notes of blood appear in the air. Ten notes appear and last for exactly 10 seconds (the time of the sacrifices last breath being expelled) after which the sacrifice dies and the notes fall to the floor as normal drops of blood.

If a note is grabbed out of the air and eaten immediately, the person consuming it regains one hit point and is considered nourished for a 24 hour period, feeling neither hunger or thirst.
Multiple notes may be consumed for additional hitpoints however a CON save (as noted below) is required for each drop. The nourishment only lasts 24 hours regardless of the number of blood notes consumed. 

Good Alignments: must make a constitution saving throw in order to keep the note down, a failed saving throw results in them throwing up the blood note and receiving none of the benefits.   

Neutral Alignments:  must make a constitution saving throw (with advantage) in order to keep the note down, a failed saving throw results in them throwing up the blood note and receiving none of the benefits.   

Evil Alignments: No saving throw required

This spell can be cast once every 24 hours.

This spell is considered evil and will only be utilized by a character of good alignment in the direst of circumstances.
