You conjure a mysterious mist from the fey wilds that envelopes and distorts a creature's perception of reality. Choose a creature that you can see within range to make a Charisma saving throw or take 1d6 psychic damage. If the creature fails the saving throw by 5 or more, the creature is charmed or frightened by you (your choice) until the start of your next turn. This spell counts as eldritch blast for any option or enhancement that applies to the eldritch blast spell such as the warlock's eldritch invocations.
The spell creates more than one mists when you reach higher levels: two mists at 5th level, three mists at 11th level, and four mists at 17th level. You can direct the mists at the same target or at different ones. Each creature must make a separate saving throw for each mist.
