Betrayal

You plant an image in the attacking creature's mind of a loved one or some other creature it is unwilling to harm, and impose that image between the creature and the target of its attack. The attacking creature must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the attack fails, as do any other attacks the creature makes against that target before the start of its next turn. On a successful save, the creature can choose whether or not to make the attack as normal, but if the attack hits, the attacking creature takes psychic damage equal to half the damage dealt by the attack rounded down.
