With your hand outstretched, you summon a rapidly expanding whirlwind of pressure to buffet a target you can see within range. Make a ranged spell attack roll. On a successful hit, the target takes 2d8 bludgeoning damage and must succeed a Strength Saving Throw if it is Large or smaller. On a failed save, the target is either pushed back 10 feet or knocked prone, which the caster chooses. If cast while the caster is fully submerged, the range of this spell is instead 30 feet, and deals an additional 1d8 bludgeoning damage.
At Higher Levels.
When cast using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, this spell either deals 1d8 additional bludgeoning damage or pushes a target back 10 additional feet for each level above 1st.
