You create a sphere of pure arcane energy, which bursts out from you to smite your enemies. All creatures in a 10 foot radius sphere centered on you (except you) must attempt strength saving throws, on a failed save the creature takes 2d8 force damage and be flung up to 10 feet away and knocked prone. On a successful save the creature takes half damage and is not flung away or knocked prone. A creature can use it's reaction to fall prone and gain advantage on the saving throw. If a creature strikes a hard object, it takes 3 (1d6) damage for every 10 feet it was flung.
At Higher Levels. If you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 and the distance flung increases by 5 feet for each slot level above the 2nd.
