Choose a point within range. From that point, a 15 foot radius sphere of non-magical material becomes amorphous, and solid becomes liquid temporarily. The area becomes difficult terrain, and creatures that enter the area for the first time or end their turn within the area must make a dexterity saving throw, or take 6d6 bludgeoning damage and sink into the ground, becoming restrained and submerged in the ground. On a successful save, the creature is considered prone, and takes half damage.
A creature can use its action to make a strength or dexterity check to break free against your spell save DC. On a success, it is freed and is unaffected by the terrain until the beginning of its next turn.
At higher levels, this spell deals an additional 2d6 bludgeoning damage for each spell level above 3rd.
