Ventriloquism

Making hand motions with a single hand behind your back and speaking a simple phrase up to 10 words long, or a type of sound that you can produce with your mouth that lasts less than 10 seconds, you can cause your voice to appear from a point that you can see within 30 feet of you.  Anyone looking directly at you when you cast the spell can make a wisdom saving throw, against your save DC, BUT ONLY IF they have cause to believe you are being dishonest.  If they succeed on their roll, they will be aware that you are somehow responsible for the distant voice.  If you change your voice in any way in an attempt to disguise yourself,  you must make a performance check against a DC of (20 - your class level).  Failing this, others with higher wisdom ability scores may be able to recognize your voice in the deception, as determined by the DM.

AT HIGHER LEVELS:  When cast at a level higher than 2nd level, the range distance increases by 10 feet for each level above 2nd.
