Burlap's Eldritch Barrage

Entreating your patron for aid, your eyes flare with arcane power as you create an unstable ball of crackling energy in your hands. You cast the ball in to the air, causing arcane symbols to fill the space around you. Each symbol releases several identical beams of crackling energy which streak towards up to 5 creatures within range. Each target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 8d6 damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 4th.
