When you get hit by an attack that you can see, you summon a Cackler (GGR, page 195). The cackler is hostile to all creatures and is automatically hit by the attack.
The Cacklers hit points increase by 10 when you reach 5th level (20 hit points), 11th level (30 hit points), and 17th level (40 hit points).
