the Bearer calls forth a wild mass of twisting vines brimming with needle-sharp thorns. The vines appear within range on a solid surface and extends 15 feet per turn in a 5 foot wide and 10 foot tall line. The Bearer chooses which direction the vines spread each turn, and can sacrifice distance to increase the height or width of the mass. The vines block line of sight.
When the vines appear, each creature within its area must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 4d8 poison damage, or half as much damage on a successful save.
A creature can move through the mass of vines, albeit slowly and painfully. Movement speed is reduced to 1/4 while attemptingto travel through the vines. Furthermore, the first time a creature enters the vines space or ends its turn there, the creature must make a Dexterity saving throw. It takes 4d8 acid damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
