After rubbing your hands together, you strike your palms upon the ground that creates a web of lightning that surrounds you. Five bolts of lightning rapidly dart across the ground towards up to five enemies that you can see within a range of 60 feet, leaping towards their target and electrocuting them. Each target must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 7D6 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Creatures wearing armor made of metal have disadvantage on the saving throw.
Alternatively, all five bolts of lightning can instead converge towards a single target instead, dealing 12d6 lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 4th.
* - (an electrified piece of copper)I managed to decipher a spell scroll that belonged to this wizard who had a strange obsession with making spells based off his cat familiar. Well, I hope he doesn't mind that I took a few notes from one of his spells.
