Army — Old Empire

By means of this spell, you are able to create an instant army, which rises from the ground in the form of earth, stone, or sand soldiers. You summon 50 soldiers, the soldiers appear in unoccupied spaces within range, placed as you see fit.

Each soldier is considered a construct, and it disappears when it drops to 0 hit points or when the spell ends.

The summoned creatures are friendly to you and your companions. Roll initiative for the summoned creatures as a group, which have their own turns. They obey any verbal commands that you issue to them (no action required by you). If you don't issue any commands to them, they defend themselves from hostile creatures, but otherwise take no actions.

A soldier has the same statistics as an animated armor, with these changes:

• The soldier is equipped with a spear and their Slam attack is renamed Spear, and now deals piercing damage, but is otherwise unchanged.
• It is equipped with a shield, but its AC remains 18.
