This spell can only be cast outside.
Immediately upon completion of the spell, an avalanche of ice and snow falls out of the sky. Creatures caught within a 20 ft. radius sphere must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 8d6 points of bludgeoning damage and are buried by the snow. Those that succeed take half damage and are not buried.
Creatures that are buried by this spell are grappled and prone. At the start of its turn, if it is still buried, the creature takes an additional 1d6 cold damage. The creature can make a Strength saving throw at the end of its turn to escape being buried. On a success, they are no longer grappled and the effect ends.
The ice and snow remains and is considered difficult terrain until melted by natural or unnatural means.
