This spells reanimates a tiny beast after it has died, the beast becomes undead and has the same stats it had when it was alive, but it is a zombie if the spell was cast on a corpse and a skeleton if it was cast on a pile of bones.

On each of your turns you can mentally command your reanimated critter, you can command one critter or all of your critters at the same time if you have multiple under your command. You can order your critter to move to a certain location, follow someone, attack someone or do other such things. You have to use a bonus action to do this.

When the beast is animated, it is under your command until it turns to dust, it turns to dust if you cast the spell on a different creature and the maximum amount of creatures you can have under your control with this spell is exceeded and it also turns to dust if it is reduced to 0 hitpoints or if it's dispelled. The pile of dust that derives from a creature reanimated with this spell can't be used as a spell component and also can't be animated again. You can have 1 creature under control at a time with this spell at 1st level.

The amount of creatures you can have under your control at a time with this spell increases to 2 at 5th level, 3 at 11th level and 4 at 17th level.
