You create a glowing dart of semi-stable arcane energy. The dart hits a creature of your choice that you can see within range, dealing 1d4 + 1 force damage. This spell is treated as magic missile for other spells and magical effects (ex. the shield spell and the Brooch of Shielding will make this cantrip deal 0 damage).
This spell's damage die increases by 1 when you reach 5th level (1d6+1), 11th level (1d8+1), and 17th level (1d10+1).
* - (an arcane focus worth at least 10 gp)Yes! This spell works like Magic Missile. No! You cannot create more than one missile! If that were the case, then this spell would render the original spell obsolete... hmm... maybe I should look into ways to improve Magic Missile.

nice! I really like this one!
idea for it: make it create 2, but they only deal 1d4 instead of 1d4+1
The hard part about this one is making it so that magic missile is still viable as an option. I see what you're saying but I would actually advise against the multiple darts for scaling because that's one of the few strengths of magic missile over this.
Note: After play testing this cantrip, the auto hit cantrip is only busted in theory (depending on subclass and items given to the player), but if someone wanted to maximize their damage they should instead use the normal blaster cantrips.
