You conjure up to 150 solid stones that form a single contiguous shape (IE a wall 15ft x 10ft high). The stones are each no more than 1 cubic foot and fit together tightly as if made by the finest Dwarven masons in a single formation the caster chooses and require a base strong enough to support their weight. Stone edges will magically conform perfectly and snuggly to the shape of any floor, roof or wall placed against. The stones are not cemented together but are dry fit and creatures of sufficient size and ability can destroy the formation; large creatures attacking it can topple 4 stones per turn, medium creatures can topple 2 stones per turn, small creatures cannot topple it. Large and medium creatures passing an intelligence check can dismantle the formation at double the rate per turn if the are not attacked and spend their turn carefully dismantling it. If the formation remains undisturbed (no stones moved, destroyed or removed) the caster may through concentration maintain the formation for up to 1 hour, otherwise the formation dissipates in 10 minutes (without requiring concentration).
The stones can be formed into any simple contiguous shape the caster desires provided it can stand on it's own and is made of stones no larger than 1 cubic foot:
- A small arched bridge sufficient to span a distance of no more than 15ft capable of holding 2 horses and riders.
- A circle 10ft high large enough to surround a medium sized creature.
- A wall with cut-out arrow slits.
- A stone staircase up to 8ft high.
The stones fit together so well that formations not disturbed by an attacking creature are water and air tight. The formation can be cast with holes in it to climb or attack through but the holes count towards the total dimensions.
If cast by a Dwarf an extra 50 stones are added to the base spell but no extra time is added.
