You whisper a venomous threat into your dagger before throwing it at a target creature.
Make a ranged spell attack against a creature. If the attack hits it deals the dagger's regular damage as well as 2d6 piercing damage. The caster also blinks to the closest unoccupied space within 5 ft of the target with their hands around the handle of the dagger still buried in the creature's body. If there is no unoccupied space within 5 ft of the target, the caster instead appears on the shoulders of the target, the dagger not in their hands.
If the ranged attack misses, the dagger lands within 10 ft of the targeted creature and the spell ends. The dagger does not teleport back to the caster and must be collected manually.
If cast at higher levels, the daggers damage increases by 1d6.
