Armor of Bramble

A protective wreath of bramble wood surrounds you, manifesting as thorny vines and branches that grows to cover you and your gear. If a creature hits you with a melee attack, the creature takes 5 piercing damage.  This spell lasts 1 hour, or until you fall unconscious.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the piercing damage increase by 5 for each slot.
