Annickira's Striking Shot

A shaft of searing energy forming a line 60 feet long and 5 feet wide blasts forwards from your hands in a direction you choose. Each creature in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 10d4 force damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
The beam is powerful enough to pierce any defences such as walls, spheres and barriers, both non-magical and magical, such as those generated by spells such as a Wall of Force, though it simply passes through them, as opposed to destroying them.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 2d4 for each slot level above 3rd.
