The Caster shouts ARK! And the Evil that is before him/her will be killed immediately (or critically wounded/blinded).
Ark is a special spell used by those with a deep and fervent connection to their God, Ark is capable of eliminating the most Vile, Evil and Sadistic creatures or persons. Ark is especially effective against Demons regardless of power, AC, etc.
Ark can only be used once as it takes an intense amount of energy, concentration and soul to cast.
Ark is not able to target persons or creatures of "good" character, only those seen as Evil. (Not just Evil intent, but judged as Evil in every way, usually morally)
Upon casting Ark creates a blinding aura that expands up to 50 FT., the light blinds anyone who dares look upon it and kills all Evil souls in the area, completely annihilating their Physical form and releasing their soul from this plane of existence.
**Ark is only capable of being casted/learned by someone with a sincere and deep connection with their God of choice, only Gods considered "Good" may be used, the point of this spell is to destroy pure evil/chaotic souls who are too powerful for the Mortal plane. Ark will successfully Kill anything in it's AoE if it is judged as Evil by the God of the user.**
Ark is unable to be Counter-spelled, unable to be dispelled and can be dangerous around Allies, it is designed as a trump card, ace up the sleeve and/or a last resort. If used with out warning, it will permanently blind anyone but the Caster who views the radiant light expelled from the caster. (Truly anyone can learn this as it can also be used as a "prayer" to summon 'divine intervention' causing Ark to expel into the room), up to you how you play this really!

Posted Oct 22, 2020I see a few problems with this spell. It instantly kills evil aligned characters, yet is only a lv 1 spell. I feel like this would be a good 9th level spell with some clear damage rules if the monster may be too powerful, like, 10d4 radiant damage or something. Also, I feel like classes like ranger, artificer, ranger, bard, and sorcerer shouldn't be able to use this spell, but cleric should be able to use it. It should also require material or at least semantic components in addition just to make it more balanced. Just my 2 cents though and feel free to ignore me.
