Compas

You place a needle on a leaf in a small body of water and you focus on a location, object, creature or a general objective.

The needle and the leaf slowly turn until they point in the “general direction” of the thing you seek.

At the DM’s discretion, the compas becomes less accurate the more the thing you seek is difficult to find. If this spell is used too frequently, it may fail or have a negative outcome.

Since you use the energy of the surrounding elements to guide your quest, this spell has no effect if it is cast in a city.

Can be cast as ritual without the ritual caster ability if you have the spell in your prepared spell list (casting time 10 minutes)
