You unleash your pain towards the target, withering it at its core. The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw. On a failure, the target 1d4 psychic damage, and the first time you take damage before the start of your next turn, the target takes necrotic damage equal to 1d4 + your spellcasting ability modifier.
This spell’s damage increases when you reach higher levels. Both damage rolls are increased by 1d4 at 6th (2d4), 11th (3d4) and 17th (4d4) level.
