You conjure a lance made from blood forming a line 60 feet long and 5 feet wide out from you in a direction you choose. Each creature in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw. A a creature takes 3d10 damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. You can either use your own blood or that of a willing creature. When using your own blood, you take 1d10 necrotic damage to conjure the lance. If there is a corpse or a willing creature within 5 feet of you, the damage can be transferred to them instead (corpses won't take damage).
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d10 for each slot above 2nd. The damage you take increases by 1d10 for every 2 spell slots above 2nd (2d10 at 4th, 3d10 at 6th, 4d10 at 8th).
