The creature must succeed on a Charisma saving throw against your spell save DC. If the creature fails its saving throw, it grants advantage on all attacks made against it for the duration, and you create an opportunity for an ally to strike at it as they gain sudden insight into the creature's fate. One creature within 5 feet of the target can use their reaction to make an attack against it.

If the target succeeds at its saving throw, its next attack roll has disadvantage, and no special reaction is granted.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell with a spell slot of higher level, you the duration of the effect is increased. Casting this spell using a 4th level spell slot increases the duration to 1 minute and allows up to two creatures to take the special reaction. Casting this spell using a 6th level spell slot increases the duration to 10 minutes and allows up to two creatures within 30ft to take the special reaction granted by this spell. Casting this spell using an 8th level spell increases the duration to 1 hour, and the creature provokes opportunity attacks from hostile enemies whenever it moves or uses its action for the duration.
