You choose a 10-foot-square of unoccupied space on the ground that you can see within range. A large spectral crab appears there and reaches for two creatures you can see within 10 feet of it. The targets must make Strength saving throws. On a failed save, the target takes 2d12 bludgeoning damage and is restrained for the spell’s duration.
As an action, you can cause the crab to crush the restrained targets, who must make Strength saving throws. It takes 2d12 bludgeoning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
To break out, the restrained targets can use their actions to make a Strength check against your spell save DC. On a success, the target escapes and is no longer restrained by the crab.
As an action, you can cause the crab to reach for a different set of creatures or to move to a different unoccupied space within range. The crab releases one of the restrained targets if you do either.
