Use: This allows the caster to turn 1 gallon of water into a bucket of powerful acid. The primary use of the acid is as a damaging and blistering agent however. The acid will burn any hydrocarbon based life form including undead as long as the undead have a corporeal body.
Area of Effect: The acid can be splashed over any three adjacent 5' squares within 15' of the caster. The bucket is not held by the caster, but appears just in front of him or her in the casters 5' square and "dowses" the three 5' squares with a powerful acid.
The caster may add 5' to the range and one 5' of are of effect at 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th levels.
Damage: The acid does 2d4+4 chemical burn damage, and 1d4+2 poison damage. Dex save DC 10 plus the spell caster's proficiency bonus for half damage.
The acid will create a poisonous venomous steam as a result of hitting a target (even if the save is made). The three affected hexes will cause 1d4+2 burning and 1d4 poison damage to anything passing through or into the affected hexes, per hex for the next 3 turns (the end of the caster's 4th turn after casting the spell)
Additionally: The acid is NOT flammable, and could put out fires in those hexes (DC 10 plus the caster's proficiency bonus)
NOTE: For a Warlock the container is a Ceramic Jar and not a bucket
