A blast of foggy wind erupts from your hands in a 60' cone reaching 20' in height. As the spell begins, a handful of glass ground as fine as sand must be added to the wind. All targets caught in the spray must make a CON save or take 8d8 piercing damage, or half as much on a successful save. In addition, the target is blinded for 1 minute or until 3 actions are used to flush the eyes with water (a target may use as many actions as they have attack actions on any given turn). Target is not blinded on a successful save. The Biting Wind will spread around some forms of cover (trees, slightly higher ground, small parapets, etc and DM discretion).
If the targets are surprised by the spell via skill check, they roll their saving throw at Disadvantage.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the cone increases by 10 feet OR the damage increases by 1d8. You may choose one option.
