You touch a willing creature to grant them the ability to delay the severity of their injuries. For the duration of the spell, the creature gains resistance against all damage, but when the creature takes damage, add a number equal to the damage taken to a pool of stored damage. At the end of each of their turns, the creature can choose to either reduced the pool by half (minimum of 1), or to reduce the pool to 0. The creature then takes necrotic damage equal to the amount that the pool is reduced by. If the creature restores hit points during the duration of the spell, the creature can choose to either reduce a number of stored damage equal to the hit points restored, or to restored hit points normally.
When the spell ends, the creature takes necrotic damage equal to the remaining stored damage. Damage dealt by this spell ignores temporary hit points, resistance and immunity.
