Control Blood

As you begin the incantation holding the ruby in your hand blood begins to spill from inside the ruby slowly turning it into blood Tribbing from your hand.

Choose one humanoid that you can see within range. The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be paralyzed for the duration. On a successful saving throw spell ends.

A the end of it's turn the target can make another Constitution saving throw on failing the target falls unconscious until the spell ends. On a successful saving throw, the target remains paralyzed for the full duration of the spell or until it succeeds on constitution saving throw which it can make at the end of its subsequent turns. When unconscious the creature can still make constitution saving throws at the end of its turn but at a disadvantage, upon success, the creature awakes.

Another creature can use its action to shake the effected creature awake otherwise, the creature wakes up after the full duration of the spell. If the creature takes damage or is ever outside the spell's range the spell ends for that creature. Damaging creature while it is paralyzed won't end the spell but if it takes damage once it has fallen unconscious the spell will end for that creature.

At higher levels.  Casting the spell at the 8th level you can target one (1) additional creature that is no further than 30ft away from the original target.
