You touch one willing creature who uses magic with your arcane focus. You transfer your spell slot to them, allowing them an extended use of magic.
The way this exchange of magic works is as follows: in exchange for the spell slot you use to cast this spell, that creature regains a spell slot of the same level that they have already expended. Alternatively, the creature can gain spell slots of lower level whose sum equals the level at which this spell is cast.
For example, casting this as a 3rd level spell, the creature can gain a 3rd level spell, a 2nd level and a 1st level spell, or three 1st level spells.
No creature can use this spell to regain more spell slots than they already have per level. If this is cast at 6th level but the recipient has only used a 1st level spell slot, they can only regain that slot, nothing more.
At higher levels, the sum of the spell slots a creature can gain is equal to the spell slot expended to cast this spell.
